Our Web Development and Web Design Portfolio

The Child and Nature Alliance of Canada (CNA) is a network of organizations and individuals who are working to connect children to nature through education, advocacy, programming, policy, research, and the built environment. Launching their original website in 2009, they had found over the years that many of their needs grew beyond the original website, while at the same time wanted to explore ideas around simplification of the site. It was time for an overhaul.

The CNA contacted Pure Web Media to collaborate on ways to simplify and modernize their website, in addition to creating a version for mobile devices. During the latter half of 2012 we worked closely together to come up with an updated information architecture, employ modern technologies such as open layers maps, and create a framework upon which to build a membership which would grow into the thousands. With a fresh design, desktop and mobile functionality, the website launched in October 2012 and we are proud to help support the goals of their organization.
